Truth is the One which is immovable, Unshakeable, Constant and unchanged which transcends all times/dimensions of perception.
The term is most often related to God/Almighty. Truth in Spiritual terms can be explained in the following 3 forms:
This virtue can be used to realize the mistakes in us and move forward in our journey… To accept the past and move forward.
Awareness of this virtue leads us into light/hope/courage from ignorance/fear/darkness… e.g., Listening to inspiring conversation/Being in an intense moment of meditation makes us realize and move on from our present time.
A quote/mantra from one of the ancient Vedic scriptures about Truth:
“Aum Asato mā sad gamaya
Tamaso mā jyotir gamaya
Mṛtyormā amṛtam gamaya
Aum śānti śānti śānti”
meaning of which is –
“From ignorance, lead me to truth;
From darkness, lead me to light;
From death, lead me to immortality
I’m peace, peace, peace”
Reflecting on what is happiness, for a few moments at least, it’s likely you will come up with three predominant feelings when you are authentically happy – contentment, joy and bliss. Contentment which, occurs naturally when nothing and no one can disturb you, joy that arises when naturally from deep within I engage in the process that we are designed to do, which is to ‘be creative’, and bliss that comes naturally as long as we remain internally free.
It’s in moments of meditation that it’s possible to touch and taste our original and unadulterated state of being. It has been discovered that what is within us remains ours forever, whereas outside things, like money or possessions, can disappear. The more we take time in stillness to reflect the easier it becomes to recognize, extract and eliminate anything that pollutes that sate.
Artificial showy happiness makes one peace-less. Happiness that is based on what I am eating, drinking and wearing is superficial happiness. True happiness is like a nourishment and experience of the same cures the sickness of sorrow.
When I discover my own strengths and virtues and use them for greater good, then I am happy! Being happy is an act of goodness towards the self, if I am happy, I am able to make others happy and this in turn is an act of goodness towards others.
A cheerful face goes a long way towards making everything better!
Care is nurturing the soul. Caring enough to follow our dreams in order to create the life we envisioned. It’s about finding the good in me and others. Listening to our inner voice. Awakening our soul to the good that exist in me. For the people who are better off taking care of others, look inside and know it starts with us. Sometimes we can’t get everything done in one day, don’t worry, and know that whatever we can get done is enough. It’s about treating others kindly from the heart because we feel good about ourselves. Once I do that I can fully understand others.
Wake up every morning and look forward to finding the goodness of humanity. We know it’s out there. How could it not be? We have to look in between all the sad stories you hear broadcasted on the news night after night. We have to look within and find the good emerge again. That one shining moment when you can see the sun trying to peak out from behind the clouds. Be that sun!
Let’s brighten our day with the beauty and power that already exists inside of us. Let’s awaken that part of us that has been asleep for too long.
If one person could do just one good deed for another person just once a day, imagine what a difference it would make in the world. We as a world can make it happen. Let’s start a new movement by doing just one small act of goodness and use our new found power to spread good around our world!
A new beginning is upon us
Can’t you see it
If you allow it to arrive
Allow yourself to ‘care’
Reach inside and pull out your inner strength
Time to spread the ‘peace’
Time to be ‘strong’
For far too long
The world around us has been crumbling
Listen closely
Can you hear the rumbling?
The sound of people’s dreams dying
Who will the first to take a stand?
Who will be brave enough to raise their hand?
To spread goodness instead of dread
To care what happens to your fellow men
The time has come to bring back the good
To come out of hiding and do what we should
Any little bit help to turn our world around
If only enough brave new souls could be found!
Kindness is our ability to express our love and co-operation in action to someone who is incapable / falling down to stand up/move forward. This virtue reminds us of the Mother Teresa. The world remembers her for the acts she performed to serve the humanity.
Kindness is often related the virtue of the King. The more kind the King is the great he is. We can be kind not only towards humans also towards Nature and Animals. There is saying “The man who cannot love his fellow being cannot love the God…”
Kindness is vital attitude needed when we are in the field of service… without this virtue it is not possible to succeed in the field of service…
